November 29th, day after Thanksgiving, marked Connor's 7 month birthday! It also happened to be the same day as the Apple Cup, and since it was a Friday, mom had to work so guess who dressed our little man? Notice the color scheme choice of his outfit…. At 7 months he is digging solids for the most part, although we tried intruding meat and that was a total disaster. Maybe our little guy is a vegetarian! Sweet potatoes are definitely the favorite. Carrots, apples, green beans, and squash are all well tolerated. Peaches and bananas, and most recently chicken, have not been all that successful. He is sitting much better, especially when he has something in front of him to keep him occupied. He LOVE standing and jumping in his jumper. He is talking more, and his laugh is getting funnier and funnier. He is getting a bit of a shy side when he is in unfamiliar places or around a lot of unfamiliar people. But if you speak in a foreign language (Spanish is great), or just talk a bunch of goofy high chipper gibberish, he'll warm up and you'll get his big heart-melting smile.
